Hello, I am Steve Jeffries. I am looking for jobs that involve  website design, programming or accounting. I have worked in construction, manufacturing, distribution and entertainment environments. My main strength is working with people to design or implement systems to keep things flowing smoothly and provide reports to know where we stand financially.

Technology:

• Quickbooks Accounting - estimating, billing, accounts receivable, purchasing, accounts payable,  job costing, inventory, time sheets, check writing and payroll. I am familiar with Quickbooks Pro, Premier and Enterprise versions.
• Excel Spreadsheets - Extensive experience in multi-sheet and multi-workbook applications. Ability to do data lookups that mimic database applications. Multi-user applications using LAN and internet based file systems.
• Open Office Spreadsheets - Experienced using the free spreadsheets from open office and converting between Excel and Open Office. Understanding of compatibility issues with Excel.
• Google Docs Spreadsheets - Experienced using the free online spreadsheets from Google and how they can be shared by users over the web. Understanding of converting Excel spreadsheets to Google Docs and the compatibility issues involved.
• Database programs - Experience with setting up and using databases such as Access and Sybase and integration with programs written in C++ and Powerbuilder.
• Photo editing programs such as Photoshop, Gimp, Photo Plus.
• Desktop publishing programs such as Page Plus, Draw Plus.
• 3-D design programs - Extensive experience with the architecture program Plan-3D (kitchens, house plans, landscaping) and some experience with Google Sketchup.
• Quality Control - Experienced in software  testing and debugging. Years of programming, debugging and user interface testing.

People

• Effective at working in closely supervised or independent work environments or with teams.
• Experience working closely with software users and managers to implement new systems and maintain current ones.
• Easy going personality but determined to get the job done right and on time.
